An A&S Challenge for Adults

When: Wednesday, August 6th, 2026 from 2pm-6pm

Where: Courtesan Camp, Strawberry Fields (block B03 off Bannockburn) at Pennsic War

Introducing the first annual Knowne World Courtesans Pennsic A&S Challenge!

This year’s challenge: Choose a period sex worker of repute, and create an A&S project that celebrates them! Songs, poems, skits, paintings, any extraordinary work of art based on your choice. If you choose a research paper, make it creative non-fiction so that we will have something fun to read.

From 2pm-4pm, entrants are encouraged but not required to be present to present performing arts pieces and/or answer questions about their entries. All entrants will be provided with optional blank feedback sheets to set out if they wish. Past projects (i.e. projects made for purposes other than this competition) are welcome.

The competition may be entered in absentia, provided the entrant designates a proxy responsible for dropping off and picking up their project and, if applicable, accepting the prize on their behalf.

Winners will be selected by populace vote, and the winner will receive a fabulous spicy prize!
